What to bring:
ALL AMMO STAYS IN YOUR CAR
Picture ID, handgun, hearing & eye protection, 2 unloaded magazines best but only 1 required, and a 50 round box of ammunition.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A HANDGUN, PLEASE DON'T GO OUT AND BUY ONE FOR THE CLASS. YOU WILL GAIN INSIGHT TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF GUNS AND HOW THEY FUNCTION WHICH WILL HELP YOU BUY A HANDGUN.
WE HAVE SEVERAL GUNS THAT YOU CAN PREVIEW AND RENT FOR $40 That includes A BOX OF AMMO FOR THE QUALIFICATION PORTION OF THE COURSE.

Combative Training for CCP - Level 1

Concealed carry training is just the starting point in your training to protect yourself. In this course James will teach you simple, effective, and practical self-defense skills. These tactics are based on gross motor skills. This is why the tactics you see and practice are easy to learn and remember. No experience necessary because you already have much of the skills needed for these tactics already hardwired.
Some of the tactics you will learn during this course:
- Close quarters combat facing a drawn weapon
- Weapon retention
- Dis-armament of an aggressor
- Un-armed vs Un-armed
- Un-armed vs Armed
- Knife defense & Knife offense
- 27 Year local law enforcement veteran

AR-15 BUILD WORKSHOP
The workshop includes:
A brief history of the AR-15 rifle.
Course cost is $750 (base) per person. A $150 Deposit is required to hold your seat. Class is limited to the first
10 registered people with paid deposits. A $100 option is available for those who have a rifle/pistol and would just like to learn the details of an AR rifle/pistol and how to change out parts.

NRA Basic of Pistol Shooting Course
(Limit of 8 Students)
Online Phase I - 60.00 payable to NRA
Phase II - 85.00 (This does not include fees paid to NRA for online portion)
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is a two-part course consisting of an e-learning portion (completed online-in your own time-frame) and a hands-on practical portion conducted at a range under the guidance and supervision of one of our NRA-Certified Instructor. The course is intended for all adults regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This course is completed in two phases. Phase I is the online portion. You will go to the following link: https://basicpistol.nra.org/ and register for NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course Phase I which will cost $60.00 (goes directly to NRA). Once you have completed the online portion, you will print your completion certificate.
NOTE: When you enroll in the online course, you create a personal identification number (PIN). When you successfully complete the course, printing your certificate activates that PIN. The activated PIN allows you to register for the instructor-led training portion of the course.
Phase II is the instructor-led-training portion of the course, our NRA Certified Instructor will validate comprehension and application of gun safety rules; range protocol; proper handling; loading and unloading procedures; application of pistol shooting fundamentals; stable shooting positions; live fire; and a final shooting qualification.
Class will be take about 5 hours total: 3 hours classroom and 2 hours shooting range

- Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
- Ammunition knowledge and selection
- Selecting and storing a pistol
- The fundamentals of shooting
- Pistol inspection and maintenance
What to Bring to Class:
- Copy of completion certificate from the online course Phase I
- Copy of Basics of Pistol Shooting book you received from NRA
- Firearm of your choice
- 200 Rounds of Ammo (We offer a selection of ammunition you can purchase before we head to the shooting range)

***NOTE: To register for this course you must have completed the basics of pistol shooting phase 1 (which is the classroom portion of the course) online available at https://onlinetraining.nra.org/. Upon successful completion of phase 1 and you print your certificate, your Personal Identification Number(PIN) is activated. You must use that PIN to sign up for this course.
